We are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Executive Sous Chef for our client, a beautiful 5* property in South Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design innovative, seasonal menus that reflect culinary trends and guest preferences, incorporating local ingredients.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining high standards of food preparation.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

  • Ensure all dishes meet the hotel’s presentation and quality standards, conducting regular taste tests and inspections.

  • Plan and execute special events, private dinners, and catering services, ensuring exceptional service and presentation.

  • Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, continually seeking opportunities for menu enhancement and staff training.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Executive Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
