We are currently recruiting a Duty Manager for our client. They are seeking an ambitious, dynamic & self-motivated individual. The right candidate will have knowledge of the various departments within a hotel and hold the customer experience as a core value. This position may suit a supervisor looking to take the next step in their career. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruiting and training staff.
• Formulating and implementing SOPs.
• Dealing with guest queries.
• Ensure the smooth running of Banquets and events.
• Manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance.
• Work alongside other HOD to ensure the hotel maintains its standards.
• Oversee the day to day running of the Hotels services.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a Hotel 
• Will have experience as Duty Manager in a busy hotel operation
• The ability to manage department heads and experience in managing multiple outlets
• Sound knowledge and passion for food & beverage
• Knowledge of Hotel Standards of Service
• Previous experience with KPI’s, budgets, stock control, and forecasting
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance 
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience in banqueting.
