Director of Sales €85k plus
We are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales for our client. In this position you will be responsible for all sales activities to maximise the overall revenue of the property with the team.
Responsibilities:
Achieves sales goals by supervising and leading sales team.
Implements strategies to improve market penetration
Maximises sales productivity by ensuring that sales staff utilise a proactive sales techniques
Improve call productivity with sales staff on appropriate selling techniques
Increases sales volume and profitability by formulating and executing projects.
Review market analysis to determine client needs, occupancy potential, desired rates, etc.
Manage overall budget
Negotiates with clients to achieve maximum profit while satisfying client needs
Ensures customer satisfaction and hotel profit by overseeing the coordination of various department’s activities related to booked business
Ensures maximum occupancy daily by performing follow-ups on progress of groups with all departments
Participates in solving problems with other departments as required, relating to business booked in the hotel including space
Enhances the hotel’s community image and stays abreast with sales methods and techniques in the hotel industry
Prepare reports as necessary to develop a more informative data base Prepare the business plan for the hotel
Plan for and implements methods of increasing volume of business thorough sales, new markets and special sales projects
Provide feedback to Senior Managers on changing market conditions and trends.
Implements special programmes to increase overall occupancy
Directs all sales activities for team with sales opportunities to ensure that
objectives are achieved.
Attend travel fairs and trade shows to promote the property
Prepare and control the Sales Department’s budget
