We are currently recruiting for Cafe Manager for our client, they are seeking an ambitious, dynamic & self-motivated manager with exceptional experience of directing the team to provide exceptional service with the personal touch. This is a hands on position within a busy daytime opeartion.  

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure that the cafe is fully prepared for service.
• Ensure that guest needs and requirements are met and deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner if they arise.
• Manage and monitor food and beverage quality and service in the cafe.
• Lead, support, inform and guide team members in all restaurant activities and operations.
• Conduct onboarding of new team members and ensure they complete the SOP training.
• In the absence of manager, delegate appropriately amongst the team.
• Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving customer complaints.
• Ensure team compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 1-2 years experience as a Cafe Manager
• Self-motivated, standards driven and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise & delegate
• Excellent customer service skills, warm, friendly and courteous at all times
• Previous experience with KPI’s, budgets, stock control, and forecasting
• Barista experience
