We are currently recruiting for a Cafe Manager position. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking for a life-work balance. It is a daytime role Monday – Friday in a beautiful Kildare village. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate with a genuine passion for good food, excellent service and enthusiasm to oversee and manage the day to day service. We are looking for a hands on manager with proactive approach and exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Having a proven track record in Corporate Catering
• Recruit, lead, develop motivate and manage the team to deliver superior food and service
• Organise and lead the preparation and presentation of all food and hospitality services to the highest of standards and in line with the contract specification
• Manage all aspect of food safety and health & safety while keeping the food wastage at minimum
• Develop solid and trusted client relationships
• Drive sales through effective marketing, promotions
• Manage the service within the budget and financial targets

About You:

• Minimum 2 years catering management experience
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of HSE in food environment
• Track record of managing a P&L and delivering results
• Proven track record of catering background
