We are currently recruiting for an Accommodation Manager for our client, this key role will deliver results and assist the manager in all aspects of Housekeeping Operations. From bedrooms, corridors, public areas, etc. and will have the role of continuing to ensure the very high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the hotel and to manage the housekeeping department and control costs.

 

Accommodation Supervisor Main Responsibilities:

Supervising the daily cleaning of assigned rooms, bathrooms and corridor Monitoring and all public area cleaning

Checking the allocated guest rooms thoroughly in line with required standards

Employee supervision and good organisation of the daily room cleaning schedule

Assist the manager with purchasing and controlling costs for housekeeping supplies/products in line with budgetary expectations

Ensuring guest laundry is collected, charged and returned to the guest in a speedy and accurate fashion

Managing guest lost property, ensuring contact is made.

Resolving any guest problems or complaints when possible and ensuring management are kept informed

Reporting maintenance issues to comply with the hotel’s established quality standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

Subject business levels, cleaning of rooms may be required.

Ideal Accommodation Supervisor:

Two years’ experience in a similar role

Ability to work on own initiative

Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.

Excellent attention to detail

Committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to motivate a team

Excellent organisational skills
